Habitat for Humanity Sarasota Opens Bee Ridge ReStore Boutique
June 28, 2013 – Sarasota, FL – Habitat for Humanity Sarasota Inc. has completed a redesign of its Bee Ridge Restore to include a clothing boutique and expanded area for home goods.
The Boutique, with more than 2,000 square feet of retail space, will include gently used women’s clothing, infant and children’s clothing and menswear. The enhanced shopping space opens July 1, 2013; the store is located at 4408 Bee Ridge Road in Palm Plaza. The Boutique will also include accessories and footwear. The new space includes an eclectic combination of furniture, rugs, home essentials and other household items. The Boutique and ReStore are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and is closed on Sunday.
“Adding the Boutique not only expands the Restore’s selling space, but also Habitat’s ability to raise financial support for families in need of decent housing,” said Renee Snyder, Executive Director of Habitat Sarasota. “The additional redesign of this space allows us to accommodate the sale of more merchandise and our new Boutique is just a fun place to shop.”
Habitat Restores receive donations of new and gently used items, sells the items at a discount rate and applies all profits to the work of Habitat. The mission of Habitat for Humanity is to partner with God and community to provide decent, affordable housing for people so that they may build better lives for their families.
