Wells Fargo Housing Foundation Supports Habitat Sarasota

September 13, 2014 – Sarasota, FL – The Wells Fargo Housing Foundation recently awarded Habitat for Humanity Sarasota with a grant of $15,000. The funds will used to partially underwrite construction of a home for a working Sarasota family.

More than 20 Wells Fargo staff members volunteered to landscape the grounds of a Habitat Sarasota house currently under construction. The extensive project included planting trees and shrubbery. The Wells Fargo crew worked at the house from 7:30 a.m. to noon to ready the lot in anticipation of the Habitat partner family’s move later this fall.

“We are pleased to announce this partnership with the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation,” said Renee Snyder, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Sarasota. “A special thank you goes to Wells Fargo for not only a generous financial contribution, but for also providing hands-on volunteers for this Habitat Sarasota build.”
