Habitat Sarasota proudly celebrated a major milestone: the completion of Hammock Place.
Nestled in a quiet Sarasota community, this gated neighborhood of 40 affordable homes represents more than just housing; it’s a symbol of what’s possible when compassion meets action.
The celebration brought together community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and most importantly, the families who now call Hammock Place home, for a joyful morning that included a short program, home tours, and lunch. Guests heard from future Habitat homeowner Kersheana, whose heartfelt story captured the true impact of safe, stable housing and reminded us all why affordable homeownership is vital to a thriving community.
Hammock Place is a testament to what we can achieve together when a community unites around the belief that everyone deserves a decent place to live.
