The Critical Home Repair program is designed to serve income-eligible homeowners who are in need of repairs to remove health/safety issues and enable seniors to age in-place. Examples of home repairs include, but are not limited to, installing a new roof, replacing heating and cooling system, and replacing a water heater.
If a home inspection reveals that the scope of work exceeds the maximum cost of $25,000 established for this program, the property may become ineligible for the Critical Home Repair program.
