Is your home in need of critical repairs?

Habitat for Humanity Sarasota wants to help. The intention of this program is to eliminate health and safety defects from the home, remove barriers to improve housing conditions, and assist seniors in aging in place.

WHAT REPAIRS ARE ELIGIBLE?

  • New roof
  • New heating & cooling systems
  • New water heaters
  • Replacing broken windows & doors

* Mobile homes are not eligible for assistance.

HOW DO I QUALIFY?

  • Household maximum income is less than 80% AMI.
  • Applicant needs to be listed on the deed & live in the home as their primary residence (verified through homestead.)
  • Mortgage & property taxes must be current.
  • Applicant household must be verifiable & include all sources (Social Security, Child Support, Disability, Alimony, Wages, etc.)

Household Maximum Income 80% AMI (as of 1/2024)

  • 1 person: $56.300
  • 2 person: $64,350
  • 3 person: $72,350
  • 4 person: $80,400
  • 5 person: $86,800
  • 6 person: $93,250

Habitat Sarasota provides affordable payment terms based upon the ability to pay that is determined during the application process.
